At Golden Way Trucking you are not a number! We know each of our drivers by First and Last name. Even the ex-drivers are surprised to hear "Hi Martin" after many months, when they call us. Not only we know each Driver by name, but also their family, wives, kids, pets, and the whole personal life situation - to an extent of what the Driver is OK to share, of course.
8. Your favorite zones
Although we can't guarantee specific routes, as each day the Market is different however, first thing our Dispatchers do after introducing themselves, is asking the Drivers what are their preferred routes, states, regions. We don't go to NYC and other big cities with crazy traffic for Safety purposes. Dispatch will try to keep you in your favorite areas, as long it is profitable and we both make money. We don't do FORCED DISPATCHED. Each driver is individual and will discuss with his Dispatch how many miles he can drive, on average, a day.
9. No "Small Print"
Like every company, Golden Way Trucking has its policies and procedures however, the difference between us and other trucking companies is that we discuss straight forward all the positive things, and the things that others hide. We don't like surprises in your paycheck. That's why, during the recruiting process and orientation, we discuss all the Bonuses as well all the possible charges and deductions.
